Kindergarten-787

K-787 was a kindergarten and day-care center with an existing stainless steel railing that needed to be modified. The problem
the client was experiencing was that the children were able to
climb the railings and were hurting themselves. Our solution was
to fabricate custom perforated stainless steel panels that still
looked light and aesthetically pleasing and also prevented any
monkey business. Each piece was individually field measured
and cut to fit within the existing angles of the ramp and stairways. Then, using a custom press brake die and punch the material was pinched and bent to match the radius of the tubing and create a snug fit, free of any sharp edges. The end result was an architecturally pleasing, child safe railing, with delicate details
